Declaration of Dependence

Since my China escapade,  my hand has become rather dependent of Chinese brushes / sumi ink.

When I am working on my drawings, I feel the palpable strokes: the ink on the brush the pressure of the hand and the application onto the surface...making it a very engaging and rewarding experience. 

On a side note, I recently collected Kings of Convenience 3rd album : Declaration of Dependence. 

Its very soothing and loving. check it out when you have the time.
